Originally from Gloucestershire, Simon enjoyed his school days in Bristol, although will freely admit that his sporting achievements often 'overshadowed' his academic performances. His university experience in West London was curtailed as his academic responsibilities got in the way of sporting  and social pursuits. This led him to travel and play a bit of cricket abroad for a year or so before entering the world of work. This eventually led Simon to recruitment, where he realised he could take advantage of his natural social skills and business insight. After working with several major PLCs, he co-founded an independent start-up with two colleagues, achieving 22 years of success while navigating a challenging commercial and social landscape to become the leading independent agency in the South West and South Wales. 

A passionate supporter of Aston Villa football, rugby, and cricket, Simon also enjoys coaching the local youth cricket team. In his free time, he loves spending weekends with friends and family, playing cricket for 'The Bowling Stones' and taking care of his two particularly 'needy' dogs-see evidence!

Simon has now decided it is time for a change, leading to the establishment of Penn Resourcing. With a strong work ethic, he offers a tailored service without the typical overhead costs passed on to clients. Penn Resourcing specialises in providing professional services personnel from trainee to director level.
